Una parte importante de la gente que entrena en el Campo de Gibraltar trabaja al otro lado de la verja. El horario del club está montado con eso en mente: las clases de adultos empiezan a las 18:00 y la última termina a las 21:30, de lunes a jueves.
El problema real: la frontera
Salir de Gibraltar entre las 16:00 y las 18:00 es lo más lento del día, y la espera es impredecible: hay tardes de diez minutos y tardes de una hora. Por eso no recomendamos a nadie que cruce corriendo para llegar a las 18:00 y luego entrene con el pulso todavía acelerado.
La recomendación práctica: si trabaja en Gibraltar, apunte a la clase de las 19:00 (BJJ) o a la de las 20:30 (MMA los lunes y miércoles, Open Mat los martes y jueves). Deja margen de sobra para la cola sin tener que salir del trabajo antes de tiempo.

Qué encaja mejor según su turno
- Jornada de oficina que acaba a las 17:00 – 18:00: BJJ a las 19:00. Es la opción de la mayoría.
- Sale tarde o le cambian el turno a menudo: el bloque de las 20:30. El Open Mat de martes y jueves es el más flexible de la semana.
- Trabaja a turnos rotativos: el pase semanal de 25 € o la sesión suelta de 10 € tienen más sentido que una cuota mensual hasta que sepa qué semanas puede venir.
Sin permanencia, por una razón
Quien vive de este lado de la frontera sabe que los turnos cambian, los proyectos se alargan y hay meses imposibles. Por eso no hay contrato mínimo ni matrícula: se paga el mes que se entrena. Si un mes no puede venir, se congela la cuota por 10 € y se retoma cuando toque. Lo que no recomendamos es desaparecer sin avisar — volver sin haber congelado tiene una tasa de 20 €.
Idioma
Se entrena en español y en inglés. Los instructores se manejan en ambos y el tatami se llena de gente de los dos lados de la verja, así que no hace falta hablar español para seguir una clase.

A good share of the people training in the Campo de Gibraltar work on the other side of the frontier. The timetable is built with that in mind: adult classes start at 18:00 and the last one finishes at 21:30, Monday to Thursday.
The real problem: the border
Leaving Gibraltar between 16:00 and 18:00 is the slowest part of the day, and the wait is unpredictable — some evenings it's ten minutes, some it's an hour. Which is why we don't advise anyone to sprint across to make an 18:00 start and then train with their pulse still up.
The practical recommendation: if you work in Gibraltar, aim for the 19:00 class (BJJ) or the 20:30 slot (MMA on Monday and Wednesday, Open Mat on Tuesday and Thursday). It leaves plenty of margin for the queue without having to leave work early.

What suits which shift
- Office hours finishing 17:00 – 18:00: BJJ at 19:00. This is what most people take.
- Finish late, or shifts move around: the 20:30 block. Tuesday and Thursday Open Mat is the most flexible session of the week.
- Rotating shifts: the €25 weekly pass or the €10 single session makes more sense than a monthly fee until you know which weeks you can make.
No minimum contract, for a reason
Anyone living this side of the frontier knows shifts change, projects overrun, and some months are impossible. So there is no minimum term and no joining fee — you pay for the month you train. If a month is a write-off, freeze the membership for €10 and pick it back up. What we'd rather you didn't do is disappear without saying: coming back without having frozen carries a €20 fee.
Language
Classes run in Spanish and English. The instructors work in both, and the mat fills with people from both sides of the frontier, so you don't need Spanish to follow a session.
